The 2010 Lincoln MKT is epuiped with EcoBoost engine, which is Ford’s global solution for improving fuel economy for millions of customers. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost hits its torque peak of 350 lb-ft at just 1,500 rpm and stays there all the way to 5,250 rpm. The power peaks at 355 hp at 5,700 rpm. That gives it a very un-Lincoln like specific output of 118 horsepower per liter. Power is distributed through all four wheels that drive through a six-speed auto.
While some of the concept’s elements may not make it to production, Pricing for the luxury people-mover starts at $44,995 for a front-wheel-drive model, including destination charges. A four-wheel-drive model with the automaker’s EcoBoost powertrain runs $49,995.
