Ford unveiled the 2011 ford Mondeo with new fresh, restyled exterior, an enhanced interior.

The new ford mondeo has many changes in the new model of ford mendeo. New front bumpers include LED daytime running lights, and re-designed  rear lights also employ LED technology. Additionally a new rear deck lid treatment matches the revised rear light profile.

The 2011 ford mondeo plus new high-efficiency Ford EcoBoost petrol and TDCi diesel powertrains and a host of new driver comfort and convenience features and safety technologies, the new Mondeo completes the rejuvenation of Ford’s large car range, and takes its position as the flagship model in the company’s European portfolio.

2011 ford mondeo is powered by a 2.0-liter Ecoboost inline-four engine, which is produces a more powerful 237 horsepower. The new Ecoboost will have the same fuel consumption as the lower power unit At 179 grams per kilometer of CO2 emissions. 

The second new engine is a reworked 2.2-liter diesel inline-four that now puts out 197 hp, a 12 percent bump from the previous edition. This unit is likely the one that we will get in the Edge and Explorer for 2011. All of the Ecoboost engines are mated up a six-speed dual-clutch Powershift gearbox similar to the unit that just debuted in the Fiesta in North America.

The 2011 Mondeo range will start to go on sale across Europe from September 2010. Further information and technical details of the 2011 Mondeo range will be released.
