2011 Hyundai ix20
By luanpa in Hyundai | September 20, 2010 | (1) CommentKorean automaker Hyundai has unveiled 2011 Hyundai ix20 at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, now we have already seen the leaked set of images, The price was not announced yet, but sales across UK are sheduled to begin in November 2010.
Hyundai was ‘forced’ to make thins official by publishing a small statement regarding their main highlights. The 2011 Hyundai ix20 promises to offer class-leading fuel economy and low CO2 emissions.
2011 Hyundai ix20 will be equiped with a 1.6-liter gasoline and a smaller 1.4-litre engine, which produces 125 hp and 89 hp. At this point, there are indications that the new model will also be offered with diesel engines.
The vehicle will benefit from the brand’s Five Year Triple Care warranty program and will offer such options as Bluetooth, ESP and a Start / Stop system for better fuel economy.

The engines are going to be the same as those found in the Kia Venga.
The current 1.4 petrol used in the i30 range don’t have the same power output and they currently use a 1.6 diesel.
However we’re told that the Kia 1.4 diesel, which on paper has better performance figures than Hyundai’s 1.6 diesel, feels a little flat. Could be something to do with the gear ratio’s so Hyundai need to get that right.
