2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was made its debut at the 2011 New York Auto Show, it is seem to be a tire-melting and Hemi-powered SUV, confirmed to be high-performance robust machine compared to previous versions of Jeep Grand.

Exterior, 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 measures 76.3 inches in width, 189.8 inches in length and the wheelbase measuring 114.8 inches. Adding plenty of style is an aggressive aero package, LED running lights, a sculpted hood with air vents.  The length of the wheelbase promises a larger passenger cabin. The 2012 Grand Cherokee hosts a subtle body kit, stiffed suspension, lowered ride height along with several other features.

Interior, there’s a custom interior with leather and Alcantara seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel and real carbon fiber trim. It is a swift drive with a four-wheel drive facility and a gas fuel that is loaded premium unleaded. 2012 is the best in the generations of automobiles launched by Jeep in terms of the safety features equipped in the car and their efficiency.

The 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 is equipped with a powerful 6.4l HEMI V8 engine, which can generate 500 horsepower and 500 feet-lb of torque. 2012 Grand Cherokee has an eight speed automatic transmission and features five spoke wheels, sporty suspension and subtle body kit. It will easily ride zero-60 mph in 5 seconds. Top speed is limited to 155 mph, and the quarter mile is dispatched in the mid-13s.
To reduce fuel consumption, an active valve exhaust system cuts out four cylinders, which Jeep says helps increase fuel economy by 13 percent on the highway. Combined with a large gas tank, Jeep says the Grand Cherokee SRT8 should be capable of a 450 mile range.

Jeep didn’t provide us with the price. We know that the new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 goes on sale in the fall.

I own a Toyota 4Runner, and it is better than a Jeep Grand Cherokee in every respect. I paid extra for the Jeep in Hawaii. I really wanted to like it, and was quite surprised by how much I disliked it.
