Alfa Romeo Giulietta was showed at 2010 Geneva Auto Show to dethrone the Volkswagen Golf GTi and Ford Focus RS of the references in the so-called ‘hot hatch’. It  is a five-door hatchback equipped with impressive dynamic and comfort features.

The official has announced the price, and the price for the European market starts at 20,300 Euros for the base model and goes up to 23,700 Euros for the top of the range version. The performance Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio price starts at 29.000 Euros.

The Giulietta given the task is one implanted with a the 1.75-liter, turbocharged TBi engine with Multiair. However, that engine currently makes 200 horsepower in the Alfa 159, but for the Giulietta application, Autocar is reporting that it will be additionally boosted to 235 horsepower. Getting that power down in a front-wheel-drive car is likely to be a trick, so plans reportedly call for the Alfao to be aided by a new electronic differential and active dampers, as well as a dual-clutch transmission.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta will come equipped with bi-xenon headlamps, the Start & Stop system and an electronic differential. The engine line-up of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta includes a 1.4-liter with 120 hp and a 1.4-liter MultiAir unit developing 170 hp. The top of the range Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio will be powered by a 1750 TBi engine developing 235 hp.
