By luanpa in Audi | September 23, 2010 | (1) CommentAudi RS3 debuted at Paris Auto Show, it is twin-turbo 335bhp mega-hatch. The RS3 will become the flagship of the range when it launches a year later.
The new Audi RS3 will be one of several new variants of the next-generation A3 as Audi aims to broaden the appeal of its premium hatchback, and it will rival mega-hatches including the Ford Focus RS500 and the forthcoming BMW 1-series M coupe. The cars are also expected to join a near-production version of the Audi R4.
The car will be equiped with a version of the 340-horsepower (254-kW) 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine. That engine is capable of delivering 332 ft-lb of torque. The hatch will be all-wheel drive and should be capable of 0-62mph in 4.5sec and a top speed in excess of 160mph.
