Audi TT RS race version
By luanpa in Audi | October 12, 2010 | (0) CommentsAudi have now teamed up with Raeder Motorsports, it is a Audi TT RS race version, the Raeder team developed in partnership with Audi’s Technical Development and Quattro divisions.
This Audi TT RS race will be run by Raeder Motorsport in two test races this month. Raeder Motorsport already races an Audi A1 and a TT in the VLN Championship. The TT RS will be running in the SP 4T class at the Endurance Championship at the N ürburgring on October 16 and 30. The car will be driven by Marc Hennerici and Christopher Mies.
The car features the same 2.5 liter, turbocharged 5-cylinder TFSI engine of the TT RS plus other components from the Audi R8 LMS (LeMans Series). Audi last ran the TT in the DTM series between 2000 and 2003. This TT RS, given that it’s being tested in endurance races, may just be DTM-ready.
