According to the photos, the Land Rover LRX will be the smallest, lightest and most efficient vehicle the company has ever produced. we believe may be a form of test mule for the LRX five-door model. The new car will be built at the multi award-winning plant in Halewood, on Merseyside, subject to quality and productivity agreements and will be sold in over 100 countries around the world.
Land Rover LRX will come as a Hybrid, with electric motors running the back axle. In this model it is expected that the LRX will achive 60+ mpg with emissions of around 120g/km. Impressive for a reasonable sized SUV. And it will give Land Rover a big leap in to this burgeoning sector as people start to trade down their old gas guzzlers, but still look for prestige and quality.
