Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Desert Gold debuts in Dubai

2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Desert Gold debuts at the 2010 Dubai International Motor Show. the color could eventually be offered as an individual optional extra from the AMG PERFORMANCE STUDIO, given sufficient customer demand.

 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Desert Gold has only been used for the display vehicle at the Dubai International Motor Show, it appears that customers are already interested in this edition and the manufacturer is considering to offer this paint as an individual optional extra. For those who don’t know, the BENZ manufacturer already offers two matt paint finishes: AMG Monza grey magno” and “designo magno alanite grey”.

This car’ Power comes from a 6.2L V8 making 563-hp with a maximum torque of 479 lb-ft of torque.  Mated to an E-SELECT system that controls the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission,  the SLS AMG can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds (with the Race Start launch control system) with a top speed of 196 mph.
