Peugeot SR1 Concept Roadster Revealed

The Peugeot official unveiling of the SR1 Concept recently. According to the official it is a hybrid car, Peugeot SR1 Concept is a forward thinking convertible roadster, complete with an eco-friendly hybrid drivetrain.

As you can see for yourselves in the photo gallery , The images show a design language that is familiar with future Peugeot models, and on this vehicle reminiscent of a recent Aston Martin DBS Volante. The unique front mouth is clearly European in nature, and blends well with the lines of this concept car. Peugeot SR1 Concept is indeed using new design elements as compared to the existing Peugeot models, including LED headlights, sculpted bonnet, sweeping sides and a chiselled rear design, as the company said in a press release.

Peugeot SR1 is capable to accommodate up to three passengers, as the 2+1 interior is based on an innovative architecture that allows the rear seat to be slid forward to improve access.

According to official figures. Peugeot SR1 uses the HYbrid4 technology, The power is consisting of a 1.6-litre THP petrol producing 160kW (218hp) and a rear electric motor of 70kW (95hp). Total system output is 230kW (313hp) and AWD is engaged when the two systems are working together. Average fuel consumption is 4.9 litres per 100km while C02 emissions are pegged at 119g/km.

The Peugeot SR1 Concept is a part of Peugeot’s future plans. so just like sister company Citroen, which celebrated its 90th year last year, the firm’s logo has been given a spruce up.
