By luanpa in Porsche | November 8, 2010 | (1) CommentSpeedArt is a German firm, known specifically for its Porsche modification packages. SpeedArt has released their latest tuner job of the Porsche 997 Turbo. it is the only Porsche with an enforced PDK-gearbox which is the qualification for an impeccable power transmission.
The speedART BTRII 650 EVO Porsche 911 Turbo features a new bodykit that includes a new front bumper with spoiler lip and gun-metal frames, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and a re-designed rear spoiler. The kit also offers a movable rear wing for increased downforce on the rear axle.
Tires sized 245/30 in the front and 325/25 in the back are recommended for the wheels, and a fully adjustable sport suspension rounds out the car’s new stance. Twenty-inch three-piece forged wheels are part of the look and can be had in different color combinations.
SpeedART BTRII 650 EVO is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-6 with bigger turbos, a larger intercooler, a sport exhaust and new manifold, upping engine output 141 horsepower and 110 pound-feet of torque to a total of 641 hp and 664 lb-ft.
Combine that with a PDK transmission that has been tweaked to have eight rings per multidisc packet instead of six, and you have a modified Porsche that can accelerate to 124 mph in 8 seconds and top out at just over 208 mph. The result is a 0-100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds, and a new top speed of over 330 km/h (205 mph).
New headers, catalytic converters and tailpipes are part of the sport exhaust. A new air filter and bigger intercoolers were also used.
