Sportec SPR1 FL based on 911
By luanpa in Porsche | March 9, 2011 | (1) CommentSportec is Swiss tuner, they unveiled their the Sportec SPR1 FL program based on Porsche 911-Turbo-derived speed machine. most of the modifications happen under the hood. On the outside the Sportec SPR1 FL looks like a standard Porsche 911.
Exterior the Sportec SPR1 FL comes with a new semi-sequential gearbox, new side mirrors, facelift LED taillights and a new bumper. Sportec SPR1 FL starts off with a standard Porsche 911 Turbo and makes a range of engine revisions, including the installation of some custom new parts.
The engine is different from 911 turbo, it is powered by a 3.6 liter twin-turbo boxer engine with twin hybrid turbochargers, output a whopping 858 horsepower, Like Sportec said, a Golf GTI at each wheel. The torque figure is up a little bit, from 641 lb.-ft (869 Nm) to 649 lb.-ft (880 Nm). a Smooth Flow intake manifold with two injectors per chamber, titanium connecting rods, a flap exhaust system, a Carbon Ram Air Intake plus a high performance intercooler. It is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed transmission with reach-optimized high performance.
The Sportec SPR1 FL rockets from nought to 100 Km/h in 3.0 seconds, (0 to 200 Km/h in under 8 seconds – 0 to 300 Km/h in 18 seconds), and can reach a maximum speed of 380 Km/h (236 mph).
