2011 BMW X3

The German manufacturer BMW had released the official photos and details with 2011 BMW X3. This second generation model which will be presented to the public at the Paris Motor SHow in September. The new BMW X3 is slightly larger than its predecessor and will be offered with a range of new engines.

BMW has yet to release full technical data for the 2011 X3, it is known that the new SUV is expected to grow in size while shrinking in weight. It is expected that BMW X3 will become roughly 3.3 inches longer overall, with an added 3.6 inches to the wheelbase, along with an extra 1.1 inches of width and 1.4 inches of height. Depending on the model, weight is expected to drop by roughly 50 pounds.

The design of the new BMW X3 conveys elegance, agility and ruggedness. Up front, the forward- slanting BMW kidney grille and large headlight assembly combine with a powerful-looking front apron and hood boasting six contour lines sweeping down to meet at the kidney grill, giving the X3 a bold presence. The twin round headlights combined with the round fog lamps form the triangular light pattern that is characteristic of BMW SAV design. The upper edge of the headlight assembly sports an accentuating chrome trim, creating the focused design typical of BMW vehicles. BMW’s signature “Corona Rings” are again illuminated to function as the daytime running lights. When equipped with the optional Xenon headlights, the Corona Rings and daytime running lights are illuminated by bright white LEDs.

The 2011 BMW X3 will launch with in two trim levels — X3 xDrive20d and X3 xDrive35i. The xDrive20d model — which will likely be reserved for the European market — features a 184 horsepower, 280 lb-ft of torque version of BMW’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel. While not the powerhouse of the X3 lineup, the four-cylinder diesel is quite peppy, accelerating the X3 from 0-62 in 8.5 seconds, carrying on to a top speed of 130mph.

The X3 xDrive35i uses BMW’s familiar turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine. the power is rated at 306 horsepower and 294 lb-ft of torque, transforming the X3 into a serious performer. The sprint from 0-62 takes just 5.7 seconds, with the xDrive35i topping out at 152mph.

2010 Onyx Concept BMW M3 E92/E93

When someone hears about the Onyx Concept tuning company, Range Rover will most probably come to mind, or more recently Bentley or Porsche. But now Onyx is expected to release new styling and performance package for the BMW M3 (E92/E93).

The BMW M3 exterior changes include a new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, lip for carbon, carbon rear diffuser, carbon hood, carbon trunk spoiler and roof top. We’re digging the modified front bumper with carbon fiber front lip that makes the M3 extra aggressive, but the rear of the car just looks way too bulky and busy, especially with the funky trunk lid going on.

On the styling front, the tuner installs modified bumpers, revised side skirts, and several carbon fiber components (front spoiler, rear diffuser, ventilated hood, and trunk lid). Inside, customers can order “buffalo hide” leather upholstery and carbon fiber trim which has a range of colored weaves.

Onyx offers a package that enables the 4.0-liter V8 to produce 630 PS (463 kW / 621 hp) instead of the standard 420 PS (309 kW / 414 hp). No word on how this is accomplished, but we’re assuming it involves the usual base modifications such as a revised ECU, a high-flow air filter, and a sport exhaust plus some form of forced induction.

The price information wasn’t released, but the packages will be launched on October 31st.

BMW Alpina B7

The move into the car world began more than 40 years ago when company founder Burkard Bovensiepen steered the family business into BMW tuning with a dual Weber carburetor kit for BMW’s then-new 1500 sedan. BMW’s top brass was impressed enough by the quality of Alpina’s work that by the mid-1960s, Alpina-tuned cars were covered under the standard BMW factory warranty. The two companies have been working closely together ever since.

In fact, just as the totally redesigned 2009 7-series reaches American shores, Alpina brought its high-performance variant to the Geneva show (a long-wheelbase version based on the 750Li was later shown in Tokyo). As with the previous Alpina-massaged 7-series, it’s called the B7. This latest model uses a more powerful version of the 400-hp, direct-injection 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 found in the new 750i and 750Li.

Alpina managed to keep power figures a carefully guarded secret prior to the show, but we now know that the B7 will boast 500 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. That is almost spot-on with the previous version of the B7, which was available in limited numbers in the States. The 2008 B7 had an identical 500 hp from a 4.4-liter V-8 engine, although the extra power came courtesy of a compact centrifugal supercharger.

According to Alpina, the twin-turbo B7 sprints from 0 to 62 mph in only 4.7 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited at 174 mph. That’s not bad for an über-luxury sports sedan with a six-speed automatic gearbox and room for five people (plus loads of luggage).

Recalibrated springs lower the ride height by 0.6 inch in the front and 0.4 inch at the rear. A tiny rear spoiler, Alpina’s traditional 20-spoke wheels, and more aggressive front air intakes add a sporty touch. Thankfully, the garish Alpina racing stripes are optional.

While the previous Alpina B7 was available here in limited numbers through BMW dealers, a company spokesperson told us that no decision has been made about whether or not the new B7 will come to the U.S.

BMW x6 2-Door coupe by ArmorTech

ArmorTech has attempted to make the BMW X6 2-door by making it more impractical.

Russian tuner involves pushing the B-pillar backwards, adding 250mm (9.8 inch) longer front doors, and moving the rear window forward 200mm (7.9 inches). Since the exterior conversion demands interior changes as well, the X6 “coupe” comes with modified front seats similar as in coupe model that tilt and slide forward allowing access to the rear seat.

If customers aren’t happy with getting a standard X6 coupe, so they associated with a coupe-like design, the X6 by ArmoTech can be ordered with upgraded engine, sportier suspensions, a modified exhaust and of course, performance brakes. Other optional accessories include aftermarket wheels, an aggressive body kit, leather / alcantara upholstery, a sport steering wheel, and unique interior trim.

BMW X9 Concept

This vehicle is BMW X9 Concept, designed by Khalfi Oussama. who is a 18-year old designer from Tunisia. it could be a proposal for a new Batmobile.

BMW has seen some rather odd looking cars roll off the production line over the past 10 years, but Khalfi Oussama’s new X9 off-roader concept coupe takes oddball Beemers to a whole new level. The X9’s massive wheels and excessively wide (not to mention oddly patterned) tyres combined with its colour-matched side-steps and heavy-duty crash plates front and rear definitely showcase the car’s intentions.

The BMW X9 Concept blends the sporty bodylines of a coupe with the rolling stock of an off-roader – much like BMW’s chunky yet sporty-looking X6 soft-roader. Confusing the off-road look, though, is the car’s bulging fins, which are a tad reminiscent of Cadillacs of the 1950s – except that the X9’s fins stick out, rather than up.

The BMW X9 coupe also carries a new interpretation of BMW’s signature kidney grille, although Oussama’s version is considerably smaller than the current flock of BMWs. The grille sits alongside a set of unique twin-headlights, as well as a pair of tiny foglights that are set into the bumper.

BMW has unveiled a new concept car 2006 Mille Miglia. With hints of today’s BMW Z4 Coupe and one of BMW’s most famous racing cars, the BMW 328, the BMW Concept Coupe Mille Miglia 2006 took pride of place in Brescia, Italy yesterday (May 10) as this year’s entrants were scrutineered ahead of the event.

The Mille Miglia was resurrected in 1977 as an annual rally to celebrate one of the world’s great motor races. All vehicle models that competed in the original races between 1927 and 1957 are permitted an entry. Highlighting the 22 BMWs that have entered this year’s event, BMW’s latest concept looks back to these great racing cars. In particular the BMW 328 Mille Miglia Touring Coupe that was driven into the record books and past the chequered flag in the 1940 race.

It also looks ahead to future motor sport achievements, with a modified drivetrain and suspension from the new Z4 M Coupe providing the car’s power and control. A body 23 centimetres longer, and four centimetres lower, than BMW’s latest production sports car is set off by bespoke 20-inch alloy wheels on 245/40 R 20 tyres that complement the car’s powerful presence.

The concept car looks to both the past and the future in its styling and construction; it pays homage to the outstanding achievements of the engineers who contributed to BMW’s successful motor sport heritage, whilst confirming the passion to construct dynamic cars from the most modern materials and processes available. This remains a fundamental concept for today’s BMW road and race cars.

In the drive to win races and manufacture the ‘ultimate driving machine’, the techniques and materials may have changed beyond all recognition, but the drive and ambition remains the same.

BMW Blue Dynamics land yacht concept for sailing down a windy road, It is a wind-powered vehicle that set a land-speed record of 126.1 m/h earlier this year, The designer is Stefan Radev.

We’d like to present a conceptual design for a BMW Blue Dynamics Land Yacht by Stefan Radev. Purely an exercise in “what if?” the renderings show a premium version of a super-sleek sail car that combines the “distinctive style and emotional character” of a BMW with the “exclusiveness of a yacht” and a zero-emission power source.

It is said to be an interpretation of the idea through the “eyes of a premium automobile brand like BMW, that has taken a path of creating environmentally-friendly cars, who carry a distinctive style and emotional character.” The name “Blue Dynamics” combines a symbolic connection of the wind and BMW’s “efficient dynamics”, “active hybrid” greener emission programs. The playground of “Blue Dynamics” is an open space like deserts or beaches with typical wind conditions. After BMW explains it, we still fail to get a clear picture of how it really works. We might just have to wait to see it for ourselves.

BMW was challenged to combine the style of a premium vehicle with the exclusiveness of a yacht and to be powered by the wind. That’s how they came up with this vehicle consisting of three wheels and a sail. The virtual concept allows access to the cockpit through an elevating windscreen, and the rigid sail can be moved automatically or manually. While the car only exists in computer form today, you can see the optimism of the designer in this image of the dashboard. There’s a wind direction dial and a spedometer – which goes up to 420 km/h. BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Supercar

BMW revealed the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept at 2009 Frankfurt auto show, it is future performance-oriented models in a spectacularly styled concept car, which the combination of M3-rivaling acceleration and Mini Cooper-beating fuel economy.

The new concept is designed by plug-in hybrid drive technology, while featuring a variety of futuristic styling, packaging, aerodynamic, lighting and interior ideas under development at the German carmaker’s heavily cloaked FIZ development center in Munich. Many of the concepts are planned for use on upcoming BMW road cars, including an exciting Z10 EfficientDynamics range-topping model due by 2015.

BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept is an advanced diesel-electric hybrid system, equiped with two electric motors with a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbodiesel engine, together producing 356 horsepower, and it will first appear in the second-generation 1-series due in 2011. The front-mounted engine features a gutsy 163 hp and 214 lb-ft of torque, making it more powerful than the latest and most-economical version of BMW’s existing turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. It channels drive to the rear wheels via a version of the Getrag-developed six-speed dual-clutch gearbox introduced on the M3.

The electric motor for the rear wheels produces 25 kilowatts and 214 lb-ft of torque, but is capable of up to 38 kilowatts for short bursts. The motor driving the front wheels delivers 60 kilowatts and 162 lb-ft of torque, but can supply up to 104 kilowatts momentarily. Altogether, the combined diesel-electric powertrain is good for 356 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.

This endows the 3,069-lb concept with a power-to-weight ratio close to that of 4.0-liter, 420-hp V8-powered M3, and with a comparable 4.8-second 0-to-62-mph time, according to BMW. At the same time, BMW says its hybrid concept should be good for a combined fuel-economy rating of 90.2 mpg.

Electricity comes from plugging into to the grid, or from regenerative braking and coasting. Recharging is estimated at 2.5 hours at 220 volts, or just 44 minutes at 380 volts. The 187-lb lithium-polymer battery pack produces up to 364 volts and has a storage capacity of 10.8 kilowatt-hours. Depending on the driving conditions, the Vision EfficientDynamics is engineered to run exclusively on its electric motors, the diesel engine or a combination of diesel and electric motors. Maximum range in pure electric mode is estimated at 31 miles, with the diesel engine offering an additional 400 miles.

BMW has never confirmed future plans to build a new supercar, but there are some indications that a high-end sportscar will follow in the future. At the same time, it is unlikely that a replica of the Vision Concept would make it into production, due to the same passenger/pedestrian regulations we’re been hearing about, but the technology powering the concept is ready for prime time.

In the last post, I have showed you the BMW 250tti Supercar Concept, which is designed by an Iranian designer Emil Baddal. He is graduate of Industrial and Transportation Design. This time I will show you the work of Emil Baddal : BMW Sportscar Concept Study. So I will introduce to you.

This concept doesn’t appeal to everyone and it is quite controversial, but in the end, I have no other choice but to appreciate his artistic skills and attention to details. We have been hearing a lot about a future BMW supercar known as the ‘Z10.’The car has been confirmed for production by many BMW executives, most importantly by the automaker’s head of design, Adrian van Hooydonk.

It is reported that BMW Sportscar Concept is base on the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept, which debuted at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, is virtually a study of a production Z10.

Sources say that the production Z10 could be powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo straight-6 making 450-hp and a peak torque of 350 lb-ft. Other rumors suggest a twin-turbo V6. The BMW Vision EfficientDynmaics Concept is powered by 163-hp 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and two electric motors making a total output 356-hp with a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft.

BMW 250tti Supercar Concept

The Iranian car designer Emil Baddal released a series of concept car designs involving a Lamborghini, a Ferrari and a BMW, he returns with a new concept study designed under the name BMW 250tti Supersport . While his creations drew a wide variety of reactions.

BMW 250tti Supersport looks like a toy car that has been upscaled to real dimensions. You come across an artist that goes too far. Not content with what he created, Baddal as at it again when he recently released his new BMW concept study, which he tagged by the name ‘250tti Supersport’. At first glance, the car does resemble something that goes along the same lines of what Baddal would create. It’s got a futuristic taste to it. Baddal does veer away from anything that remotely resembles BMW’s trademark sleek and tastefully cutting edge styling.

We do support from time to time these independent artists and we like to give them props for their work, but this time, we’ll go with thumbs down. You have to give it to this up-and-coming Iranian designer. While he does tend to go a little overboard with his design, his designs are a reflection of what the future of luxury cars might look like down the road.

BMW Sequence GT concept all-electric surper car

Last week, we had writen a article about BMW AiricAirin, today we will introduce BMW Sequence GT concept. It is designed by Seungmo Lim, who is a graduate student at Pforzheim University in Germany.

BMW Sequence GT concept is designed to an all-electric concept vehicle that takes only a minute to refuel. The vehicle’s electric motor-wheel drive gives the designer the freedom to work on the form of the machine, giving it a unique front end with double noses for better aerodynamic performance.

It was developed with following the deep philosophy of Efficient Dynamics thus providing more economical driving. and it is envisioning the use of a high-tech battery recharging system being promoted by American company Better Place. The system allows you to drive into the station where a machine, installed under the ground, changes the battery within one minute. The station then uses solar panels to recharge the batteries without any harmful emissions.

Sequence GT includes next generation safety systems to protect the occupants and the pedestrians. Inside, an impressive aerodynamics works. Its got a double nose and frontal collision has been preserved with vehicle shooting external airbags. The air intakes on either side of the nose are used to cool the electric motors located under the boot floor. Moreover, air intakes on the outer side of the nose are used to cool the electric motors, allowing them to function and achieve maximum efficiency. The cabin has four separate seats and the vehicle’s lithium-ion batteries are located under the trunk floor.

BMW LayerON Concept is a skeleton like structure

The BMW LayerON Concept was designed by a team for their final thesis at Turin-based IED -Istituto Europeo di Design. There are Patrick De Laet Moreno (Spain), Rocco Sergio D’Argento (Italy) and Aydar Nigmatullin (Russia).

BMW LayerON Concept was developed for the future in 2015, and it is built on the idea that a post-industrial society would be based on vast use of services and decreased buying. Increased renting of goods, the concept has been developed as a rental car. The car can be customized with the help of an electric panel and it can basically look different every time you push a button. In fact, the car looks great for a futuristic concept. They’ve imagined a world where people will only rent cars and, in that would, this would be the perfect vehicle.

BMW LayerON Concept has a skeleton like structure covered by a layer of panels to create the “outer skin”The panels are combined with the internal skeleton layer that has the ability to contract and dilate, thereby giving the vehicle a custom shape. Moreover, the design would allow downloading personal driver settings, for custom appearance and interface.

BMW AiricAirin is a student design

This Vehicle is BMW AiricAirin, which is design by a student of in German Pforzheim whoes name is Seungmo Lim, It is just a master’s degree project of Seungmo Lim.

BMW AiricAirin concept was designed while keeping in mind the fact that everything will go digital in future, but looks so exciting, The creation of the body took Seungmo three weeks and this model comes out in its present from while carving 59 parts, that were collected and refined within a period of five weeks. On the other, the vehicle has eleven different colors and textures and laying of a 40 meters of metal wore with a diameter of 1.6mm took Seungmo six days.

In fact, BMW AiricAirin lightweight sporty roadster concept has the back of a truck which many may think is created by stamping of steel sheet, but it’s not this way. And a hole in the rear of the car between the driver and passenger has a rotor cocooned that turns the air flow which sucks in a diffuser, producing additional energy to assist the engine.

BMW CS Concept will be on sale

The BMW CS concept made its first public show at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2007, which is sport sedan/4-door coupe. It is base on BMW 7 Series bigger than a 7 Series, and is the next style benchmark for BMW. According to the BMW Official, it will be on sale in the first half of 2010.

For the design buffs out there, We expect only one major design change, and that’s slicing about 3 inches off the concept’s massive 78-inch width, this looks like a marriage of the recent angle-crazy designs seen throughout the BMW lineup and the dash of elegance that has been noticeably absent as of late. Wheelbase should be 123.2 inches, same as the concept’s, a dimension that just happens to fall neatly between the 121-inch span of the new 750i and the 126.5-inch long-body 750Li. Overall length should be close to that of the standard 7 at around 200 inches, but the 2011 BMW CS Gran Turismo should mimic the concept’s mere 53.2-inch overall height despite likely 19- or 20-inch standard wheels. Even with its considerable size, however, the GT will almost surely share the concept’s cozy-feel interior, with seating likely limited to four and tight rear headroom for taller occupants.

The BMW Concept CS is an invitation to active motoring, with the driver-oriented cockpit immediately showing the motorist that he or she is in control of everything happening at the wheel. In presenting this new Concept Car, BMW has entered not only a brand-new segment of the market never occupied before, but also sets the milestone with a brand-new type of car: the four-door luxury Gran Turismo enters a new dimension of motoring.

BMW S.X Concept : next generation luxury sports of BMW

BMW S.X Concept represents the next generation luxury sports coupe from BMW could look like, and it would be well positioned to take over BMW 6 Series. It is designed Iulian Bumbu, a graduate of the Transportation Design Course at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan. And Bumbu also created the racy Lamborghini Insecta Concept.

Since BMW has started to spend all their time designing automotive oddities like the X6 and 5-Series GT, grad student Iulian Bumbu has decided to give the company a “suggestion” by creating this dynamic looking S.X Concept. Envisioned to be BMW’s next great coupe, the S.X Concept takes several design cues from the BMW CS Concept and blends it will some familiar themes from the Fisker Karma and Aston Martin One-77. This car’s rival seems to be Audi R8 because of the similar aspect. It looks to be a very low, aerodynamic and long car so it can reach high speeds. Julian Bumbu applied some skills learned at a Milanese automotive design program to a BMW etude.

The engine would provide motivation for the S.X, but the X5 M’s 555hp (408kW) twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 seems like a logical choice. It is a mid-front engine layout similar to all BMW sports car RWD.

BMW M-Zero Concept

BMW M-Zero concept is designed by Mael Oberkamph, who is a German photographer and a photo rendering artist. The car is based on BMW M-Series and is a mix of the BMW M6 and the Aston Martin DB9.

BMW M-Zero concept could be considered as an equivalent of an Audi R8 competitor for BMW. So we’re guessing it could either incorporate the 5.0 liter V10 that produces 500-hp from the M5 and M6 or even uprated version of the new 4.4 liter V8 engine found in the BMW X6 xDrive50i that produces 400-hp.

The car is the synthesis between the actual BMW design and a high an performance car which could become the most powerful model of the BMW legacy. The exterior looks great, very BMW style, but we are hoping to be able to see the interior design, we bet it’s futuristic. Either way, we like what we see even though it will probably never see the light of day.

BMW ActiveHybrid X6 with the price

The BMW released a Hybrid X6, The BMW ActiveHybrid X6 is the first full hybrid of BMW. According to the Official, the price is starting at $88,900.

The BMW ActiveHybrid X6 is epuiped with a all-hybrid engine, which BMW claims is the world’s most powerful hybrid. It outputting a combined 480 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque, this a hybrid to be reckoned with. the plain 50i makes 400 horses and 450 lb.-ft. The hybrid makes less horsepower than the X6 M’s 555 hp, but it tops that model’s 500 lb.-ft. of torque. The M version still has the edge on acceleration, though: 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds from a vehicle weighing in at 5,700 lb is definitely astonishing, but does this vehicle live up to its gasoline powered counterparts?Car and Driver magazine had a chance to briefly test drive the all new BMW ActiveHybrid X6 and posted a preview in the February 2010 issue. In short, they are less than thrilled with the hybrid crossover SUV. Continuing reading for the highs and lows garnished from their brief preview drive.

The ActiveHybrid system is a full hybrid system, meaning the car will run on electricity alone up to 60 km/h and the engine will shut down automatically below 60 km/h. At the core of the system is a 407 horsepower twin turbocharged 4.4-litre V8, the same engine that powers the X6 50i. Where things get sophisticated, if not complicated, is in the two-mode active transmission, a unit based on an electric continuously variable transmission (as found in most hybrids), but employing three planetary gear sets and four multiple-plate clutches to provide seven fixed transmission ratios.

Two electric motors are integrated into this transmission, with slightly different power outputs, and operate independently with the mechanical components to maximize efficiency at low speeds and offline performance, as well as high speed driving. It’s like having two transmissions in one car – not that easy to understand and, sorry, not that easy to describe. But suffice to say it operates with the same precise gear changes that one would expect in a BMW.

BMW ActiveE concept was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show on January 11th. BMW took the time to inform us about Concept ActiveE. In fact, it is the follow up for the Mini E. In total more than 600 units of the electric Mini hit the roads this year for tests in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, London and Munich.

BMW ActiveE is an electric concept based on 1 Series Coupe. Officially called BMW ActiveE, the prototype is the second model, after the Mini E electric version, which is part of the new range of Megacity electric models that BMW Group will develop in coming years.

BMW ActiveE concept is different from anything at the outside compared with the production version of the BMW 1-Series Coupe, the only unusual visuals elements are the stickers that states that under the body is an electric engine. Predicted driving performance figures: acceleration from zero to 60 km/h (37mph) in less than 4.5 seconds and from zero to 100 km/h (62mph) in less than 9 seconds, maximum speed: approx. 145 km/h (90 mph, electronically limited). As with the MINI E, the real-world range is expected to be about 160 km / 100 miles on a single charge, depending on conditions (FTP72 cycle range is calculated to be 240 km / 150 miles in simulation).

Flexible charging technology enables the lithium-ion battery pack to be recharged by a conventional power outlet at public charging stations or at a special wall box. On the European grid, the battery pack can be fully charged at a high-current power outlet (50 ampere) in as little as 3 hours. In North America, using a high-current (32 ampere continuous) residential wall box, the charge time is about 4.5 hours.

The drive components used in the BMW Concept ActiveE have been developed as part of project i. The objectives on which this is based are derived from the requirements for the serial production development of a Megacity Vehicle.

In the BMW Concept ActiveE, new BMW ConnectedDrive services are presented which have been designed exclusively for use in an electric vehicle. This includes specific remote functions which enable the use of a mobile phone to check the charge status of the battery, search for public charging stations and activate the vehicle’s auxiliary heating and air conditioning functions.

In April 2008, BMW unveiled the BMW M1 Homage Concept to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the M1. The concept vehicle uses a mid-engine layout and borrows styling cues from both the original M1 and the Turbo show car.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the BMW M1 super sports car, BMW Group Design is presenting a homage to this legendary model as part of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2008. The BMW M1 designed by Giorgio Giugiaro was a car of superlatives and a highly emotive vehicle that was uncompromisingly primed for the race track. Spawning this development was the BMW Turbo by Paul Bracq, a revolutionary concept car which, in addition to its groundbreaking functional design, also boasted a raft of technical innovations.
