Ferrari has been wining races in Formula 1 for 60 years. Ther debut the Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1 to this history.

Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1 is base on the 599 HGTE chassis meaning tougher and shorter springs and stiffer anti-roll bars. You get the choice of three livery options: inspired by Froilan Gonzalez’s 375 F1 car from 1951, as well as Fernando Alonso’s win 2011 summer.

The exterior features shared by all of the versions include a Scuderia Ferrari shield on the front wheel arches painted as per competition cars, a satin-finish aluminum fuel cap, 20-inch forged alloy wheels, and a fully customized interior decked with Alcantara and other fabrics used in racing.

The seats of Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1 are by Sabelt in the European version and Recaro in the American version. They are also upholstered in black Alcantara and the Scuderia Ferrari logo is stitched onto the headrests.

The four-point safety harnesses underscore the racing setup and are in the Red and Blue specified by FIA for the 2010-2011 F1 season. For all those markets where four-point safety harnesses cannot be homologated, three points red safety harnesses are offered.

The instrument panel is trimmed in matte-finish alutex, and features a silver commemorative plaque with the signatures of Gonzalez and Alonso.

Ferrari will releave the world’s first mid-engined car with a retractable hard-top at the 2011 Frankfurt show, this sport is the Ferrari 458 Spider. The 458 Spider is set to join the Ferrari 458 Italia lineup.

Ferrari 458 Spider bosses claim weighs 25kg less than a soft-top set-up. It is 1,430kg weight, Extra chassis strengthening means the Spider is 50kg heavier than the coupe. It sits on 20-inch wheels and 235/35 front and 295/35 rear rubbers.

The retracting back-panel mechanism is similar to theSuperamerica, but more streamlined in design, and it hides under a double-hump rear deck when stowed. The roof mechanism is thought to be a two-piece arrangement, which folds through 180 degrees to stow behind the rear seats. Ferrari 458 Spider is powered by a 4.5-liter direct-injection V8 engine, produces 570 hp, 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is mated to a dual-clutch F1 paddle-shift seven-speed transmission with E-Diff, which integrates F1-Trac traction control and high-performance ABS. Top speed is about 198 mph, with a 0-62 time of 3.4 seconds.

Ferrari says that technical solutions adopted for the chassis guarantee identical levels of structural rigidity with the roof up or down. And it will first sale in the U.S. to start early 2012.

Ferrari has unveiled new 458 Italia Grand Am race car, it is set to compete in 2012 in the North American race series. This Ferrari first runned ran around a racetrack at the Fiorano circuit.

This race car ran for 45 laps trouble free and was driven by Maurizio Mediani and Jaime Melo, who both took turns behind the wheel.

Slowing the North American Grand Am down is a 48 mm restrictor and less efficient aerodynamics than the GT version. Compared to a standard 458 Italia, the Grand Am model features a revised braking system and a roll-over bar which gives greater lateral protection thereby increasing safety.

Lancia Stratos was debuted in Marseille in 2011, it introduced to journalists at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Marseille, France. This car is commissioned by car collector and racing enthusiast Michael Stoscheck, who runs German auto parts supplier Brose.

Lancia Stratos revival is designed by Jason Castriota and was considered to built by Pininfarina. It could go into 25 limited series in the world. As the most morden sports car it has modern touches, like LED lighting, it will primarily be a new take on 1970′s-era “futuristic” designs. This can be seen in the instrument cluster, which combines analog dials with classic style digital readouts.

The Stratos revival features rigid carbon fiber body, and reportedly has a power-to-weight ratio of 2.25 kg per horsepower. Underneath the carbon fiber body is a 483 horsepower engine from a Ferrari F430 and a shortened chassis.

Ferrari does not consent to construction of the planned limited run by either Pininfarina or any other Ferrari-dependent suppliers, but the
Ferrari isn’t giving up as they now considering non-Ferrari suppliers. It remains unclear when everything could be hammered out.

Ferrari Superamerica 45 is a one-off prototype, so it may be the world’s most exclusive Ferrari, it is set to make its public debut at the Villa d’Este Concours in Italy on 20th May 2011.

Ferrari has released few technical details on the Ferrari Superamerica 45, but it blends elements of the extreme open-top version of the current 599 and the 575M Superamerica，like the 575M Superamerica originally unveiled in 2003, the Ferrari Superamerica 45 gets a novel rotating one-piece roof section.

The Villa d’Este car gets versions of the SA APERTA’s rear buttresses – coloured in the bespoke Blu Antille paint, instead of metallic finish – and double air vents on the front wing. There’s also a unique chrome front grille, plus aluminium A-pillars, wing mirrors and door handles.

Other design features include body-coloured alloy wheels, with a diamond finish on the spokes, and a contrasting dark blue splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser. The main blue paint scheme is designed to match the shade of Kalikow’s 1961 400 Superamerica cabriolet.

Inside, there’s dark blue carbonfibre trim on the dashboard, and Cuoio (deep beige) leather. The boot has been carefully shaped to hide the arrangement when it is open, and is also made of lightweight carbon. The interior meanwhile is trimmed with a combination of Cuoio leather trim and Blu Scuro carbon fibre. It also gets the latest-generation touch-screen infotainment system.

The Superamerica 45 becomes the the latest appear at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza. Hosted on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, it’s not the first time, Ferrari has chosen to use the Villa D’Este show to advertise its ability to build bespoke cars. The event was previously used to launch the Ferrari P4/5, created for financier James Glickenhaus.

Ferrari has unveiled the new Ferrari SA APERTA at 2010 Paris Auto Show, it is a roadster version of the rumored topless 599 GTB Fiorano. The special-edition model celebrates Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, and only 80 units will be made.

The SA Aperta is different from its 599 siblings only above the fenders, Beause of the 670 CV engine beneath its bonnet, the Ferrari SA APERTA beautifully embodies the sporty spirit of the 599, where designers reshaped the car’s windshield, pillars, and cabin in the process of chopping the top. The owner of Ferrari 458 Italia has become the 11th victim of the new supercar’s mysterious jinx after it burned down in China. The trouble started in the engine compartment.

This dramatic video shows plumes of black smoke emanating from the £170,000 supercar as it sits on the side of a winding hill road. It’s been a tumultuous start for the Ferrari 458 Italia which has been lauded by critics but suffered at the hands of its owners with six reported crashes and five fire-related incidents – a total of 11 in just three months and five in the past 11 days.

According to recent reports, Ferrari will start looking into these fires. Ferrari officials have stated that at least six of the events were caused by driver error, and not by some technical malfunction.

Edo Competition has launched a new aerodynamics package for the Ferrari 599 GTB, which is called edo Ferrari 630 Scuderia. The edo Ferrari 630 Scuderia aerodynamics kit improves the stability at high speeds and the cooling of the engine.

The aim was to underline the perfect shapes of the Ferrari 599 GTB and to adapt the aerodynamics to higher top speed and meet the increased cooling demands caused by the improved power output without compromising the styling of the car.

The flow-optimized front apron features an enlarged cooling air inlet which improves the engines thermal balance. The larger center inlet also provides cool air for the brakes, thereby increasing their service life and fade resistance. In addition to that the front spoiler lip improves downforce on the front axle.

The newly developed side skirts reduce crosswind sensitivity and improve wheel arch ventilation in combination with the new rear apron. To achieve this, a new undertray with a wider diffuser now with 6 blades was mounted on both sides to enhance rear axle downforce at high speeds. Additionally a carbon fiber lip is mounted on the trunk lid to provide extra stability and rear downforce.

The standard version of the Ferrari 599 GTB is powered by a V12 engine that develops 620 hp at 7600 rpm and 608 Nm of torque at 5600 rpm. The top speed of the standard Ferrari 599 GTB is 330 km/h with 100 km/h coming in just 3.7 seconds. There are two stages of power upgrades for the edo Ferrari 630 Scuderia: 599 GTB with an estimated 650 hp and 660 Nm (487 ft-lb) of torque and 630 GTB with 750 hp and 720 Nm (531 ft-lb) of torque.

Naturally all parts are made from ultra-lightweight carbon fiber, which means a weight reduction of nearly 50 kg (110 lb) is a welcome side effect of this aerodynamics package.

Next Generation Ferrari 612 Concept

The next generation Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is envisioned by German designer Sasha Selipanov, it touts a refreshing design as well as technology to scorch the road.

This concept presents a high-performance GTO and an aerodynamic body with altogether new look to attract the gen-next commuters. Unfortunately, we are short on other technical specifications of the futuristic Ferrari GTO, but enhanced aesthetics of the car gives the glimpse of a cool, comfortable ride.

Someone takes it upon themselves to imagine what another Prancing Horse from the stable would look like with the same treatment. Some come out looking better than others, but push comes to shove, there is no Ferrari 458 XX, no 599 Challenge and no California Scuderia. Once in a while, though, someone comes up with something truly intriguing.

In this case, Ferrari 612 GTO. Only the thing is, these renderings don’t depict what the Scaglietti would look like given the same treatment as the Ferrari 599 GTO. No, this is something altogether more intriguing. More like a mix between the Aston Martin One-77 and the Ferrari 458 Italia, with a few elements from the original 250 GTO thrown in there for good measure.

This is Ferrari F460 Tifosi concept, it was created by Atilla Tay. And it is design by a college student.

Ferrari F460 Tifosi concept would be a replacement for the current Ferrari F430, Based on the F460 name, and it will powered by a 4.6 litre, mid-mounted V8 engine. the engine is visible through a glass rear hatch.

The exterior design of the concept is inspired by the shape of DNA, using continuous flowing lines to define the surfaces. The matt black paint helps to bring out the style lines of the car. The Ferrari F460 Tifosi is similar in size, proportion and layout to the F430, but with perhaps a slightly more slippery profile.

This vehicle is Ferrari Racing concept for Le Mans in 2012, which is designed by Sasha Selipanovym. This Ferrari isn’t like any of the older models.

Sasha Selipanovym started work on the basic elements like the location of the engine. He designed intakes and ducts that are dictated by functionality. Hence here comes the modern, logical yet a perfectly thought out car that doesn’t fits well into the aesthetics of Ferrari.

The bottom line and functions of this machine have been designed without adhering to the rules taken into consideration while making sports prototypes. Lots of elements are borrowed from the F1 cars and the making of this design is marked with herculean effort to find out in the books as to how these parts function.

The concept has been developed for the race at Le Mans in 2012. And the concept has been designed on entirely different lines than the styles or Mazda Furai or the Citroen GT wherein aesthetics strongly predominates over function.

Ferrari Monza Concept

Ferrari Monza is a concept car that is so smart to drive itself. It is designed by Iman Maghsoudi, I think it feel in touch with the driving experience. but the top speed is 125mph, too fast for a human to operate manually.

Humans cannot muster “sufficient concentration” to keep it on the ground and upright, computers take over. They change the angles of the canards over the front wheels and make sure the Monza doesn’t go airborne in violent gusts. This study in advanced aerodynamics appears to be the road-going equivalent of an F-16, which seems to be a rather complicated way to go speeds that aren’t considered that fast anymore.

The pilot will sit inside the cockput just like how you straddle a motorcycle whenever you want to take over the driving, but whenever a specified speed limit is exceeded, the computer will automatically take over. Keeping in sync with the celebrated name Enzo, Monza not only sounds but also appears to be the future of Ferrari. This revolutionary Ferrari concept, designed by Iman Maghsoudi, is cleverly programmed to drive on its own. At slower speeds, the “pilot” sits in full control in a cockpit akin to straddling a motorcycle whenever you want to take over the driving. Yanko also states that this red speeding beast changes shape resembling an airfoil for maximum aerodynamics.

Featuring an extended front wing that lifts the nose off the ground at high speeds, such a design creates lift to reduce friction and fly while driving.The two rear wings, resembling manta ray fins, adjust to channel air smoothly across the vehicle.

The driver sits in a position similar to riding a motorbike and the vehicle is designed to minimise friction and stop unwanted headwinds. The driver operates it to a predetermined speed, before the onboard computer changes the aerodynamic profile and takes over.Designer Iman Maghsoudi said the Monza is so advanced that drivers would lack the ‘sufficient concentration’ to control it.

Ferrari F450 wil go for sale in 2010, with the price

Ferrari had revealed the F450 as a concept featuring a future hybrid powertrain, Which will be the next generation of Ferrari F430. The Ferrari F450 concept was debuted at 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Customers will get the car in 2010. The price will be around $230,000-$250,000

Previous shots of the car featured a modified F430 body, and it referred to internally as the F142 by Ferrari. There isn’t much to see as Ferrari has done a great job masking the car’s true identity, but what is noticeable is the use of LED lights. The most surprising feature, however, can be found out back where a hole in the bumper reveals three (yes, three) exhaust pipes.

The F450 will come with a longer wheelbase and wider track than the F430 and be a little taller too. Pics and spy videos seen so far also show the F450 sporting new front and rear aprons as well as a centrally mounted exhaust system in the rear skirt.

According to the official, Ferrari F450 the will be equiped with a 4.5 liter V8 with 550 hp (possibly up to 585 hp, according to Auto, Motor und Sport) coupled to the double-clutch gearbox seen in the California. The increase in power coming from a higher engine speed and an improved cooling system with larger air intakes. Coming from Formula 1 technology, the car may also feature a Kinetic Energy Recovery (KERS) system, with energy being recovered from the braking system. The power will pass through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, based on the unit used by the Ferrari California. As with the F430, the transmission will benefit from the ‘manettino’ switch found on the steering wheel, which allows the driver to choose between various handling and performance modes.

Ferrari recently confirmed that a hybrid version of the Ferrari 599 will be debuted at the 2010 Geneva motor show. It means that Ferrari would follow the ecological tendency of all manufacturers around the world. I have write a article about “Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano China Limited Edition “. Ferrari 599 hybrid concept is a two-seat 599 surper car, which is designed by Pininfarina. It is expected to reduce fuel consumption, powered by a kinetic energy recovery system(KERS). With a KERS in place an electric power boost is also probable. The play-stop system implemented on 599 GTB should reduce significantly the consumption of fuel and the unity emission V12 of this model especially in urban landscape.

Ferrari 599 hybrid concept will use a modified version of the Kinetic Energy Retrieval System, which is developed by the company’s F1 team, is expected to appear on the hybrid along with regenerative braking. It will be similar to all the other models of his kind and will utilize lithium-ion batteries. Both the electrical engine, and the batteries will be put near rear deck, a pair of small electric motors could be mounted in the 599’s rear transaxle and act as a torque-vectoring system to improve grip, handling and performance. These motors would likely also capture braking energy to store in a lithium-ion battery for future use in boosting performance. And the electrical engine will be coupled of the transmission of 599 GTB. This thing will allow implementation of a regenerating system of the kinetic energy lost usually when braking, which will function in an similar way to the KERS from Formula 1, offering a surplus of power for a short period of time.

Montezemolo also mentioned that the automaker will continue to adapt F1 technology for its street vehicles. Ferrari will also continue to look for ways to improve their cars’ efficiency as part of the board’s plan to make the company more sustainable.

Ferrari 512 S Modulo, 1970

The Ferrari 512 S Modulo is a concept car designed by coach maker Pininfarina, unveiled at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show. By January 1970, Ferrari had built a series of twenty-five Ferrari 512 S racing cars for homologation purposes, just like Porsche had done in 1969 with the Porsche 917. This meant that dozens of high powered mid-engined race cars were available.

Ferrari could not race or sell all of the manufactured cars, and gave chassis number 1046 (that means the 23rd) to Pininfarina. The Modulo was the last in a series of studies. The concept car has an extremely low body with a Canopy-style roof that slides forward to permit entry to the cabin. All four wheels are partly covered. Another special feature of the design consists of twenty-four holes in the engine cover that reveal the Ferrari V12 engine.

This is cool vehicle is Ferrari FSX Concept, the full name is Ferrari Sedan Xperiment, It is designed by Paul Kim, who is a graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco.

The Ferrari FSX Concept is a 4 door pretty unexpected sedan, it it comes with a high tech design and was designed to fit neatly into the Ferrari lineup. And it will be powered by a mid-mounted V12 engine. as provide downforce, air is passed through the revolving rear spoiler. Also at the front of the ride there’s an adjustable splitter, that directs air in the split radiators placed on each side of the Ferrari supercar.

Ferrari FSX Concept also comes in these photos with a really cool design for the rims which really fits with this . I don’t know what to say about this concept thing if it is cool or not but it is more to not so cool probably because I get used to the cars from our days but probably if this will become a base design for the future cars. Ferrari Zobin concept is designed by Siamak Ruhi Dehkordi, who is a graduate mechanical engineer of 10 years. It is a single seater aerodynamic sports car, which is intended to future car of F1.

Ferrari Zobin concept is 4,114mm long and 1,855mm wide. The exterior design of the Zobin Concept has a front structure with an attached metal band which holds the headlights and integrates into the front spoiler and fenders giving the car an ‘open-wheels’ look.

Inside of Ferrari Zobin concept is a single-seat, central seating layout designed to as closely as possible recreate the feeling of being in a F1 race car.
