2010 Project Kahn Range Rover Sport Vesuvius Edition

The Project Kahn Range Rover Sport Vesuvius Edition is the first of the spectrum colour program from the creative vision of A Kahn. Each edition will be styled utilising a unique colour system allowing the customer to pick the colour that represents their taste and personality. The fiery Vesuvius orange is the first example of the new program sporting a vast array of A Kahn products and upgrades.

Integral to the spectrum colour program is a full interior conversion featuring some of the most striking textile design details available. This edition integrates striking Vesuvius orange interior panelling mixed with the more subtle piano wood gloss, java black leather and alcantara, accented with Vesuvius stitched quilted leather door panels, arm rests and central glove box.

All interior furnishing is finished with the exacting details that have become synonymous with Project Kahn. Externally the colour coding is demonstrated to its greatest effect. The bold Vesuvius colour is applied across the length of the vehicle for maximum visual impact.

Range Rover Evoque

Land Rover has revealed its latest fleet of Range Rover Evoque prototypes, This is the official picture of the Range Rover Evoque, the production version of the Range Rover LRX concept.

The Land Rover LRX concept first revealed at the 2008 Detroit auto show wasn’t a designer’s fantasy: the production two-door is surprisingly close to the concept. The production vehicle’s interior will also take some inspiration from the concept, with typical Range Rover cues of strong ’structural’ lines in the dash, intersected by straight lines of the center stack.

Land Rover has also confirmed that the new car will be named Evoque, a name that, according to Land Rover, “implies exclusivity and arouses emotions.”Bearing a striking resemblance to the original LRX concept, the newcomer is the smallest and lightest Range Rover ever made. Design boss Gerry McGovern describes the car as “a modern and relevant execution of the familiar Range Rover design language.”

The Evoque will also become the cleanest Land Rover when it goes on sale in the UK next summer. will be sold in over 160 countries worldwide. So getting the styling right is key to the car’s appeal, and crucial for Land Rover’s plans to make the Range Rover brand appeal to more people.

Land Rover LRX concept is a hybrid 4×4 SUV, and it will be built. The new car will debut next year and join the Range Rover line-up in 2011. and the price is around $64,000.

According to the photos, the Land Rover LRX will be the smallest, lightest and most efficient vehicle the company has ever produced. we believe may be a form of test mule for the LRX five-door model. The new car will be built at the multi award-winning plant in Halewood, on Merseyside, subject to quality and productivity agreements and will be sold in over 100 countries around the world.

Land Rover LRX will come as a Hybrid, with electric motors running the back axle. In this model it is expected that the LRX will achive 60+ mpg with emissions of around 120g/km. Impressive for a reasonable sized SUV. And it will give Land Rover a big leap in to this burgeoning sector as people start to trade down their old gas guzzlers, but still look for prestige and quality.
