Volvo ReCharge Concept

Volvo ReCharge is plug-in hybrid concept is is based on the Volvo C30, equiped with individual electric wheel motors and batteries.

Volvo ReCharge’s batteries can be recharged via a regular electrical outlet for maximum environmental benefit, and it allows the car to be driven about 100 kilometers on battery power alone before the car’s four-cylinder Flexifuel engine is needed to power the car and recharge the battery.

    Thanks for this great post on Volvo Hybrid Electric Cars, I was searching for something along the lines of this and in the top 20 results at google, yours was the most informed and well presented. I was wondering, do you think Hybrid Electric Cars would make a great topic for a future post here? Or did you do that already?
